Quickly, we'd like to amend one piece of information in regards to the Head Automatica and Cubic Zirconia (Todd and Nick's new band) show/release party info from our previous posting! The show will begin at MIDNIGHT, not 8 pm, however the club WILL be open at 8. There is a Cage and Yak Ballz show over in Brooklyn earlier in the evening. Hello friends, Romans, countrymen, We are pleased to announce that all booking details (thank you Nick) have been worked out for the Cubic Zirconia "F*ck Work" release party, and this special evening of music will include a set by Head Automatica, debuting more new material, (obviously) a set by Cubic Zirconia (this is Todd and Nick's new project, in case you're late on the "band"wagon) , DJ Assault, and a few other special dj sets, as well as guests and familiar faces from the Cardboard City collective in general, so please make sure you roll through Santos Party House (this is Andrew WK's club actually, interesting sidebar for anyone who may remember him/followed him) in NYC on July 2nd at 8pm! It is going to be a great show! Hey good folks, I'm sure you've all caught wind that Daryl personally confirmed that a few more of the new Glassjaw demo's were being worked on the other weekend (along with some STUFF that's going to be tracked in a few days!), sweet progress.....but in the mean time, I'd just like to say that (also) according to Daryl, the new Head Automatica album, "Swan Damage" is complete as of last night/this morning, and they will begin mixing promptly (next week), so be sure to stay in the loop for that.
